Alex Hahn

Alex Hahn is a Grammy Award-winning saxophonist, composer, and educator based in Los Angeles, California. A dynamic force in contemporary jazz, Alex has performed with luminaries like Herbie Hancock, Esperanza Spalding, Bob Mintzer, and the Grammy-winning John Daversa Progressive Big Band. His remarkable versatility extends to recording on Michael Bublé’s last three Grammy-nominated albums, as well as working with artists like Gordon Goodwin, Peter Erskine, John Beasley, and Patrice Rushen. Even at a relatively young age, Alex’s passion for music has taken him to stages worldwide, from the Panama Jazz Festival to International Jazz Day in Havana, Cuba, and St. Petersburg, Russia.

Many of his students have gone on to study at top music schools worldwide, including Juilliard, Berklee College of Music, and the Manhattan School of Music. Alex’s influence extends beyond the classroom through his globally-reaching private lesson studio, where he mentors students from countries all over the world.

Outside of music, Alex shares his life with his wife, Lauren, an accomplished legal professional who brings her own unique talent and dedication to their shared journey. Together, they are partners in life, both committed to their individual pursuits and their collective vision of making a positive impact in their fields.
